Our Doctors

Dr. Irvin Herling

Dr. Herling, a Baltimore native, has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1972. During his 35 year career he has, not only practiced companion animal medicine, but contributed to his profession by serving on the Board of Animal Control, Directing
the Veterinary Technician program for the State of Maryland and being a member of the Department
of Surgery at Sinai Hospital. Although he enjoys
all aspects of veterinary medicine, he specializes
in minimally invasive surgery, imaging, and
oral surgery.

Dr. Deborah Tierney

Dr. Tierney grew up in Baltimore, graduating
from the Institute of Notre Dame. She then moved
to West Lafayette Indiana where she received
both a Bachelors of Agricultural Science degree
and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University. She has practiced companion animal medicine in the Baltimore area for over 15 years receiving numerous local and national veterinary awards.

Dr. Carine Klimentidis

Dr. Klimentidis was born in NewYork and then
moved to Houston, TX where she was raised.
She is of French and Greek descent and has spent many summers in France with relatives and friends. She went to veterinary school at Texas A&M University and graduated in May 2004 and was welcomed to the DocSide family in 2005. She has three pets: Riley, Ginger and Simon and in her free time likes to cook, garden, take her dog to the park, and horseback ride. Her special interests include feline internal medicine and behavior.

Dr. Tracey Robinson

Dr. Robinson was born in southern California
and raised in Baltimore from early childhood. She attended the University of Maryland in College Park, MD where she earned a Bachelor degree focused in neurobiology and physiology. After working in the Baltimore area as a veterinary technician, she moved to Madison, WI and obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin in 2011. She initially practiced emergency medicine in Pennsylvania, and has since returned to the Baltimore region to practice. Dr. Robinson lives with two mischievous Domestic Shorthair cats named Midnight and Soleil, and has a special love for bully breed dogs, which she plans to adopt in the future. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, writing, and baking. Her professional interests include ultrasonagraphy, wound management, and neurologic disorders.
